How to stop living from old patterns

Have you ever noticed that when you're stuck in a negative loop—feeling stressed, guilty, or unworthy—everything seems harder?
Me too.
I can’t tell you how many beautiful moments of my life have been tainted by feelings of anxiety, envy, worry, overthinking—you name it.
I’ve been working a lot on my energy lately, so I can create the reality I want and help my clients and readers do the same.
How? By focusing my attention on what I want to create instead of what I don’t want.
Because the energy we bring into our lives determines what we attract.
If I want to create a better future for myself, I can't do it from a place of fear, frustration, or self-doubt.
Those emotions keep us stuck in the same level of thinking that created our problems in the first place.
If we want to step into something new, we have to raise our energy first.
Let’s talk about it. Welcome to inspired idiots.
HOW IT WORKS
Our emotions are like signals. Higher emotions—like excitement, gratitude, or inspiration—send out stronger signals, influencing what we attract.
Lower emotions—like doubt, guilt, or fear—keep us in survival mode, making it harder to break out of old patterns.
Here’s a wild example that proves how much energy and intention matter:
A French scientist, René Peoc'h, studied baby chicks and their bond with their mothers. Normally, chicks follow their mother around after hatching. But in this experiment, the chicks imprinted on a small robot instead.
When the robot moved randomly in an arena, it usually covered the whole space evenly. But when the chicks were placed in a cage on one side—just watching the robot—their desire to be near it actually influenced its movements.
Instead of moving randomly, the robot stayed mostly on their side of the arena.
If baby chicks can influence a robot just by focusing on it, imagine the power your thoughts and emotions have on your own reality.
When you focus on a future version of yourself—one where you've already achieved what you want—you start drawing that reality toward you.
Science calls this the quantum field: a space of unlimited possibilities.
Instead of waiting for external proof before believing in your future, you shift your energy first, and the results follow.
WHAT TO PRACTICE
Here’s how to start shifting your energy:
Feel it before you see it. If you want success, don’t wait until it happens to feel successful. Start feeling it now—confidence, excitement, certainty. When you change your emotional state, you change the energy you put out.
Stop obsessing over the ‘how.’ The moment you stress about how or when something will happen, you slip back into your old patterns of doubt. Your job isn’t to micromanage the universe. Your job is to align your energy with the outcome you want.
Practice tuning in daily. You don’t need to sit in deep meditation for hours. You can do this while driving, cooking, or taking a walk. Just visualize the future you want and embody the emotions that come with it. The more often you do this, the more natural it becomes.
Catch yourself slipping. If you find yourself feeling frustrated, impatient, or doubtful, pause. That’s a sign you’ve shifted back into your old way of thinking. Take a breath and remind yourself: Your future self wouldn’t be stressed about this.

YOUR TAKEAWAY
I’m right here navigating this with you. I’m endlessly learning how to work with my mind instead of against it.
When we learn how to master our mindsets, we stop living from old patterns and start becoming the person who attracts what they want.
Meaning you don’t just think about success—you embody it. You live it.
And when that happens, your future meets you half-way.
